Photo Styling

Let the beauty,

          of what you LOVE

be what you do.

— RUMI

Are you an interior designer, architect or remodeler who needs help getting your rooms ready for professional photos?

As a former creative director for publications such as Oregon Home magazine, I have gained the experience needed for styling spaces for professional photos that will work for publications as well as for your portfolio. We'll work together through the below steps;

Project Review: I like to gather scouting photos or go to the location on site. Once I have a budget for materials and know how much furniture, decor, plants, produce or flowers will be needed, we'll begin gathering the materials that make the most sense for the style, look and publication we're going for.

You'll get inspiration boards and images of products I plan to use, with the option of revising as needed. I can also create floor plans with measurements for furniture space planning as needed. We'll choose furnishings for each room (or work what is already there) based on the agreed upon budget and scope.

Styling typically happens within a one to three day period. One day for loading and installing furnishings, one day on set with the photographer and one day to take down and return items, if it's not done on the day of the photo shoot.
